New custom: Goreklops!

Here's a character that's been in existence for a few years now and I finally got around to sculpting him a decent glyos body. He's about 4-to-5 inches tall so he's a BIG dude.

Goreklops
A Slaurian Cyclops*, Goreklops is a force to be reckoned with. Not quite as dim-witted as the average 'cyclopsian', he posseses some degree of common sense. Several crime bosses have been looking at him for potential recruitment, but he's proven to wild and unruly. If a individual of great intelligence were able to wrangle this brute onto their side, they would make quite a formidable team. Currently incarcerated in a Prutarran penal colony under a assault/robbery charge.

*(a sub-species of mutant Slaurians that have 1 eye, 2 horns and a big under-bite. They are all pretty large, standing at roughly 8-to-10 feet tall and are extremely strong and resistant to damage. They can be found off-world from Slauria, but in small numbers. Due to their low average intelligence and immense strength they typically find work as mercenaries, body guards or hired muscle for crime gangs.)

Goreklops: "What're you looking at snake-face??"

Cohbree'an Gunner: "*ulp!* N-nothing!"

Alien Mercenaries Season 2 Episode #29!

Hey gang! Had a blast at Comic Con today (or is it technically yesterday now??), really cool to see some people in person that up until now have only existed as digital people on the forum. Tomorrow will be even more madness...need...sleeep...@_@

*ehem*

Okay, here's Episode #29 of Alien Mercenaries Season 2. What I'm planning on doing is having a new episode released in the beginning and end of each month until I can get back on a decent schedule for the comic's new episodes to be released.

Hope you all enjoy it:

This episode is a short one, but it leads into a HUGE 30th episode that may or may not be split into 2 parts depending on it's final size. The blue & red spaceship is the Space Hawk vehicle from the GO-BOTS toy line by Tonka in the 1980's. I needed to a ship for this scene, and it was all I had on hand. It actually works out pretty well though.

So...what IS that yellow monster anyways?? O_o??

The Alien Mercenaries are going to New York Comic Con!

That's right gang, the Alien Mercenaries are getting their first printed photo comic!!! As Greh'eck and Hurneff said above, it will be on sale exclusively at New York Comic Con this weekend. I'm excited about this, as it's my first official comic release, so I hope everyone enjoys it. I had a lot of fun making it. :-D See you all at the con!

Welcome to October!

Hey gang, it's October once again and that means one thing: Halloween. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and I wanted to make sure the banner for the blog looked extra spooky this month.

(EDIT on 9/9/2011: Putting the photo into this entry, as it's long since been removed as the banner due to changes of the seasons. -Bah'glenn)

The scene depicted above shows Luminon (the one in front with the glowing eyes) lighting the path while he and Rd'eys Pheyden are walking through a dark and dingy swamp. Suddenly, 3 Jkk'Olurntrns reveal themselves from the darkness and prepare to attack! The Jkk'Olurntrns from left to right are: Kackle, Slack'jaw & their leader Fryte.

OH and the picture that I showed for September's banner was a panel from another project I have in the works called "Alien Mercenaries: Episode #0" in which we see the 'Mercenaries before they go off on their voyage to look for the shipwreck. When it's completed, it should lead right up to the 1st panel of Alien Mercenaries Episode #1, bringing the story full circle in a sense. It's quite a project involving lots of different sets so I'm not 100% sure when I will finish it...but hopefully before the new year. Stay tuned...
